The Introduction

We first bribed Toby and Charlie with cheese to reward them for good behavior. They were both more interested in the cheese than Ely but they still came over to sniff him. Sung thought I was being silly but I also made Sung wear some of his old shirts. Afterwards, I wore it too and also wrapped Ely in it. I gave this to the Toby and Charlie when they slept so that they well get accustomed to the new smell.

Charlie barked in the middle of the night (or was it morning?) when Ely cried. He gave up after awhile and fell asleep. Toby whined a little bit but gave up as well. I think he realized that being awake at 2am and whining was useless.

They were also very tired from coming back from an extended vacation so they were very calm during the introduction. Toby was extra cautious and behaved very well. He even obeyed commands. Maybe he worked on his behavior while he was at Auntie Dora's. :)

Charlie immediately did the submissive pose when I showed him Ely. Toby gingerly came over to sniff Ely's head. I think the three of them will get into much mischief in the future. :)
